Christie’s International Real Estate SoCal adds $180M in agent production with Pasadena expansion

New team additions posted $180 million in the past 12 months, the RealTrends Verified brokerage reported

East Bay residential neighborhood, California
Curated News BriefBased on original reporting by HousingWire (October 2, 2026). The summary below is the Journal’s; the local analysis is original commentary by Omar Murillo.

According to HousingWire, Christie's International Real Estate Southern California has opened a new office in Old Town Pasadena, marking another expansion for the relatively young brokerage. The firm brought on a group of experienced agents who had closed about $180 million in sales over the prior twelve months, which brought the office's total combined sales to more than $300 million during that same period.

The Pasadena location gives Christie's a dedicated presence to serve Pasadena, the San Gabriel Valley, and neighboring communities. This move continues the rapid growth of the brokerage, which was founded in 2022 by CEO Aaron Kirman. The company now has more than 300 agents on its roster and closed over 1,100 transaction sides in 2025, earning rankings in the top 100 nationally for sales volume.

Among the notable agents joining the Pasadena office is Amy Weber, who came from Compass and runs her own team. Weber closed nearly $13.3 million in sales on her own in 2025 and ranked highly among Pasadena agents. The office also added Shannon Scavo and Carla J. Buigues, along with the Heileson Team, comprised of Tracie Heileson and Sheila Arat, who specialize in luxury estates and bring decades of combined experience in the Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley markets.

The brokerage is also home to other top performers, including Peter Owens, who closed more than $26 million in sales volume in 2025 and ranked in the top fifteen for Pasadena agents by sales volume. Kirman noted that having a formal office in Pasadena's historic Old Town district felt like a natural fit for the company's brand and values.

What I am seeing locally here in the Bay Area is that ambitious brokerages are recognizing that strategic expansion and recruiting top talent are essential to growth in competitive markets. While Southern California's dynamics are different from ours, the lesson is clear: talented agents with strong local connections and proven track records are the foundation of any brokerage's success, and having a physical presence in key communities matters.
