The Bay Area Real Estate Journal is an independent local publication presented by Omar Murillo of Everhome Real Estate. This page explains how it is produced.

How Stories Are Selected

The Journal monitors official RSS feeds from established real estate, mortgage, and economic news publishers. Stories are selected for their relevance to homeowners, buyers, sellers, and investors in Fremont, the Tri-Cities, the East Bay, Silicon Valley, and the greater Bay Area.

How Curated Briefs Are Produced

Curated news briefs never republish third-party articles. Each brief carries the original headline reference, publication name, publication date, a short factual summary written by the Journal, and a prominent link to the original story. Everything under the analysis headings — “Why This Matters in the Bay Area,” “Omar Murillo’s Take,” and the seller, buyer, and investor sections — is original commentary.

How Sources Are Credited

Every curated brief names its source publication and links to the original article, both at the top of the brief and in the Source & Attribution section at the end. Images are used only where the source or license permits.

When AI Assistance Is Used

Software, including AI tools, may assist with drafting summaries, organizing story queues, and checking for duplicates. Every published brief and every piece of market commentary is reviewed, edited, and approved by Omar Murillo before publication. The opinions published under his name are his own.

Corrections

Errors are corrected promptly. Corrected articles display an updated date, and material corrections are noted in the text. To report an error, use the contact page.

Advertising & Compensation

The Journal is published by a practicing real estate broker; its business model is straightforward — readers who want local representation are invited to work with Omar. The Journal does not accept payment for coverage.
