According to HousingWire, Acrisure Mortgage has named Todd Boss as its new president. Boss is taking over from Joe Nunziata, who was recently promoted to lead Acrisure Real Estate Services, a broader division that now oversees the mortgage, title and real estate businesses under one umbrella.
Boss brings more than three decades of experience in the mortgage industry. He joined Acrisure Mortgage's leadership team back in 2009 and most recently served as chief sales officer, where he was responsible for growing and managing the company's sales organization across the country. During his time in that role, he helped expand the company's national reach and built strong relationships with customers, employees and business partners.
In his new position as president, Boss will handle the day-to-day operations of Acrisure Mortgage, including overseeing the nationwide mortgage platform, the sales organization and strategic growth initiatives. He will report directly to Nunziata. According to HousingWire, the mortgage operation currently has more than 630 employees nationwide and operates in 49 states. The company is working with 98 producing loan officers and reported $1.8 billion in loan volume over the past twelve months, with most of that business coming from conventional and FHA loans.
Moving forward, Boss's focus will be on improving operational efficiency, expanding nationally, investing in technology and innovation, and enhancing the customer experience across all segments of the business including borrowers, builders, real estate professionals and employees.
What I am seeing locally in the Bay Area and East Bay is that these kinds of leadership moves at major mortgage platforms signal continued consolidation and restructuring in our industry. It's a reminder that the mortgage business is becoming more integrated with real estate services, which means the professionals we work with as agents need to stay connected with these evolving operations to best serve our clients.
