Dare has been with KB Home for the past decade, working his way up through various positions focused on both operations and customer satisfaction. He started as a superintendent and progressed through roles like customer service manager, director of customer service and operations, and senior vice president of operations. Most recently, he served as executive vice president for KB Home's Orlando division before this promotion.
The Tampa division is an important part of KB Home's footprint. The company has been active in that market since 2002 and continues to develop new communities as the area's population and housing needs expand. KB Home's leadership expressed confidence in Dare's ability to guide the division's strategic growth.
Beyond his work in homebuilding, Dare has a strong educational background and military service. He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and an MBA, and he spent eight years as an active-duty officer in the U.S. Army before transitioning into the residential construction industry.
