Curated News BriefBased on original reporting by HousingWire (September 22, 2026). The summary below is the Journal’s; the local analysis is original commentary by Omar Murillo.

According to HousingWire, Relevate has rolled out AIMEE, an AI assistant designed to help real estate associations and multiple listing services get more value from the member data they already collect and store. The tool pulls together information from years of records including member payments, event attendance, volunteer work, leadership roles, and portal activity to create what the company calls a "Member Story" for each person.

The way this works on the staff side is pretty straightforward. Association and MLS employees can use AIMEE to ask questions about a member's history, draft communications that reference what that person has been doing, spot members who might be ready to step into volunteer or committee roles, and identify where members might benefit from education or other services. There's also a dashboard widget that flags members who might need attention before staff even open up a full record.

Members themselves can access AIMEE directly through the portal. If someone has a question about their account, needs help signing up for a course, or wants to check on something related to member documents, they can chat with the AI assistant rather than waiting for staff to respond. This approach should cut down on routine support tickets while giving members faster answers in the platform they already use.

Relevate also built what they're calling an MCP server that lets staff securely plug their member data into other AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT without having to export files or build custom connections. This keeps everything permissioned and controlled while letting organizations use their data in AI workflows they're already experimenting with elsewhere.

What I'm seeing locally here in the Bay Area and throughout the East Bay is that technology keeps reshaping how real estate professionals and the organizations that support them operate. Tools like this one, which make existing data more useful and cut down on administrative busywork, help local brokerages and associations focus on what matters most: relationships and service to their members.
