SERHANT. upgrades S.MPLE AI platform with Dot assistant

S.MPLE 2.0 coordinates multiple AI agents for CMAs, marketing, transactions and follow ups

Curated News BriefBased on original reporting by HousingWire (September 23, 2026). The summary below is the Journal’s; the local analysis is original commentary by Omar Murillo.

According to HousingWire, real estate brokerage SERHANT. has launched an upgraded version of its AI platform called S.MPLE 2.0, which the company is positioning as an intelligent chief of staff for agents rather than just another task-completion tool. The new system is designed to coordinate dozens of specialized AI agents and tools across an agent's entire business, handling everything from market research and listing presentations to marketing campaigns, transaction coordination, compliance checks, and client follow-up. Instead of requiring agents to learn new software or dashboards, agents simply tell the platform what they want to accomplish and it handles the underlying steps automatically.

The original S.MPLE platform launched in October 2024 and has already shown impressive traction. According to the company, the first version has processed over 54,000 requests, served more than 2,000 active agents, and freed up nearly 28,000 hours of work time. SERHANT. reports that agents who have adopted S.MPLE over the past 24 months increased their gross commission income by an average of 144 percent compared to their prior firm while saving at least 10 hours per week.

The 2.0 upgrade introduces a conversational interface called Dot that allows agents to describe an outcome and have the system break it down into the necessary steps and coordinate multiple AI agents to complete it. The system can proactively monitor an agent's calendar, email, and CRM to detect important moments, such as when a preapproval arrives or when a past client hasn't been contacted in 90 days. It can also deliver daily briefings highlighting what needs attention. SERHANT. says the platform uses what it calls an "anticipation engine" that allows longer-running workflows to continue in the background and resume as new information becomes available.

An important feature for risk management is that S.MPLE 2.0 has compliance built directly into its workflows rather than as an afterthought. The system checks its output against major regulatory standards including the Fair Housing Act, RESPA, and the Sherman Act as part of executing the work. This embedded approach could help brokerages reduce legal and regulatory risk while standardizing practices across their agent populations, which is particularly important as regulators and plaintiffs' attorneys increasingly scrutinize how AI is used in marketing, pricing, and steering decisions.

The rollout to SERHANT. agents is scheduled to begin in early October, with broader availability across the company's markets expanding through the fourth quarter. Currently, S.MPLE 2.0 is only available to SERHANT. agents, and the company has not announced plans to license the technology to outside brokerages. The platform is trained on SERHANT.'s own deal experience and coaching programs, reflecting how top producers actually work rather than using generic models.

What I'm seeing locally in the Bay Area and East Bay is that brokerages are realizing the competitive advantage that comes from tools built on real transaction data and workflows rather than one-size-fits-all solutions. Agents here are increasingly looking for technology that saves them time on administrative work so they can focus on what matters most: client relationships and market expertise. The compliance piece built into S.MPLE 2.0 particularly resonates with me because in our market, where fair housing scrutiny is intense and regulations are complex, having a system that automatically checks compliance reduces risk and lets agents work with more confidence.
