Real, a major brokerage platform, just unveiled some serious AI tools at their annual conference in Las Vegas. According to HousingWire, they've launched Leo Pro, which is designed to handle a lot of the routine work that eats up an agent's day. We're talking about everything from finding new prospects and creating marketing materials to managing the actual transaction paperwork and nurturing your database of contacts. It's all built to work together within their reZEN operating system so agents aren't jumping between a bunch of different tools.
What impressed me about this announcement is that Real is building Leo Pro to be genuinely practical. The platform actually figures out what kind of AI work a task needs and handles the coordination automatically. Agents can generate video tours from listing photos, create social media posts, prepare listing presentations, and even extract important dates from contracts. The system can also populate listing information and help coordinate signatures. Over three dozen specialized AI agents launched with this rollout, and they're planning to expand that significantly over the next year.
One thing Real emphasized is that automation doesn't replace broker oversight and compliance. Agents still have to approve the important stuff, and the company is protecting data through licenses that keep information secure. They've also built in a no-code builder so agents can create and customize their own AI agents for specific tasks, plus voice controls so you can just talk through what you need. Existing CRM systems can connect to Leo Pro as well, so your current contacts and property data feed into the platform.
They also introduced Referral Central, which streamlines the process of finding and coordinating with other agents on referrals. Instead of making phone calls and negotiating separate agreements, you can identify a colleague whose background matches your client's needs and send over a referral agreement in just a few clicks. It's all tracked in one place, which honestly sounds like it could save a lot of time and confusion.
Beyond Leo Pro, Real is expanding their consumer-facing HeyLeo platform, giving agents a tool to offer clients an AI home-search concierge. They've added features like Leo Line, a dedicated texting number clients can use to reach out, plus SMS notifications about new listings. According to HousingWire, agents can monitor these conversations and take over whenever they need to, so the relationship stays in their hands.
What I am seeing locally in the Bay Area is that our best agents are already using AI to stay efficient and visible, which Real seems to understand is what matters most in this market. These tools are aimed at freeing up time for the relationship building and problem solving that actually close deals and generate referrals. In Fremont and across the East Bay, where competition is fierce, agents who can leverage AI to stay in front of their sphere while managing their time better are going to have a real advantage. The question now is how smoothly these tools integrate into actual workflows and whether they genuinely move the needle on conversion rates.
